SUMMARY:
A Well - Established Valve company on the East Rand of Gauteng seeks a Sales Representative to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads
Conduct customer visits and site inspections
Promote and sell the company’s valve products and solutions
Prepare quotations, proposals, and tender submissions
Negotiate pricing and close sales deals
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
Provide technical product advice and support to customers
Follow up on quotations and customer enquiries
Coordinate with internal sales and operations teams regarding orders and deliveries
Monitor market trends and competitor activity
Prepare and submit sales reports and forecasts
Travel to customer sites and attend meetings regularly
Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports
Ensure high levels of customer service and professionalism
Attend product training and sales meetings
Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions when required
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Assist with resolving customer queries and complaints effectively

Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric certificate
Minimum 5 years’ external sales experience, preferably within the valve, industrial, engineering, or fluid control industry
Strong technical understanding of valves and related industrial products
Proven sales and business development experience
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Computer literacy (MS Office and CRM/ERP systems advantageous)
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Valid South African driver’s license
Own reliable vehicle is essential.
