SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Sales Representative to generate revenue by promoting and selling company products or services to new and existing clients, by meeting sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and representing the brand professionally in the DIY market.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum Qualifications:

Matric / Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Business advantageous
Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales role

Skills and Competencies:

Proven track record in sales in Retail, FMCG or hardware
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong negotiation and closing abilities
Self-motivated and results-driven
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Good administrative and reporting skills
Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Valid driver’s license (essential due to travel requirements)

Responsibilities:

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within assigned territory or customer segment
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction
Conduct regular visits to customer locations, perform product presentations, and provide sales support
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company policies
Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and events to promote products and network with potential clients
Provide market feedback, competitor analysis, and customer insights to management
Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery
Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
