Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Our client, a reputable company based in Pinetown, Durban, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a completed tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years’ sales experience. Experience in marketing pallet racking / storage solutions and systems for warehousing and industrial facilities will be advantageous. Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills are essential. The successful applicant must be computer literate, reliable, trustworthy, and a proactive team player with a clear criminal and credit record. A valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle are required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Completed tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years’ sales experience
• Experience in marketing pallet racking / storage solutions and systems for warehousing and industrial facilities will be advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong negotiation skills
• Effective conflict resolution abilities
• Forward-thinking, with creativity and initiative
• Capable of performing administrative duties as required
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Reliable and trustworthy

• Proactively research and contact prospective new client
• Provide excellent customer service to both new and existing clients
• Conduct site visits to existing and potential clients to assess needs and promote products and services
• Drive after-sales support and service delivery
• Identify business opportunities and generate leads or enquiries

• Conduct market research, including internet searches, to identify potential customers in key market segments
• Generate leads for the branch through targeted marketing efforts
• Actively market and sell the concept of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and other company products

• Monday to Thursday: 07h30 – 16h30
• Friday: 07h30 – 14h00
