Position Title: Sales Representative – Professional Skincare

Location: Pretoria, Sandton & Roodepoort, Gauteng

Role Purpose

We are a premium professional skincare brand serving approximately 400 professional salon customers nationally. The brand continues to strengthen its presence within South Africa's professional beauty industry.

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Sales Representative to manage and grow an established sales territory across Pretoria, Sandton, and Roodepoort. This role focuses exclusively on the professional salon market, including beauty salons, spas, hair salons, and nail salons. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining existing client relationships while driving new business growth through consultative sales and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established portfolio of professional salon clients.

• Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with salon owners and key decision-makers.

• Achieve monthly sales targets and key performance indicators.

• Acquire a minimum of 10 new salon clients annually.

• Conduct professional product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions.

• Maintain accurate CRM records and submit sales reports.

• Develop territory growth strategies to maximise sales opportunities.

• Monitor competitor activity and market trends.

• Always represent the brand professionally.

Work Schedule

• Monday: Office-based for planning, reporting, administration, and sales meetings.

• Tuesday to Friday: Client visits, account management, prospecting, and business development within the allocated territory.

Daily Activity Expectations

• Conduct up to six client visits per day.

• Complete two to three cold calls daily to generate new business opportunities.

• Maintain consistent follow-up with existing and prospective customers.

• Ensure CRM records and sales activities are updated daily.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' sales experience within FMCG or a similar customer-facing sales environment.

• At least 4 years' experience as an External Sales Representative.

• Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.

• Experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

• Strong business development and account management experience.

• Valid driver's licence.

• Own reliable vehicle.

Advantageous Experience

• Professional skincare, cosmetics, or beauty industry experience.

• Experience selling to beauty salons, spas, hair salons, or nail salons.

• Strong B2B consultative sales experience within FMCG, automotive aftermarket, vehicle parts, or similar industries.

• Experience presenting products and conducting customer training sessions.
