Sales Representative – Johannesburg

Requirements:

Relevant tertiary qualification.

At least 5 years Solid Sales Experience .

FMCG background (essential).

Valid driver''s licence .

Sales experience with a proven sales track record is an advantage.

Computer Skills in Word and Excel

Cell phone.

Neat and presentable .

Well-spoken with negotiating skills.

Must be willing to travel.

Applicants will be responsible for:

Assisting in the operation of allocated commercial stores:

Evaluate and promote better services to customers where required.

Monitoring of stores monthly sales and growth in accordance with company targets.

Implement strategic initiatives as required by the Line Manager.

Ensure that all listed products are ordered and displayed in applicable stores.

Responsible for ordering and follow-up of all Seasonal and Everyday stock.

Evaluate and analyse allocated stores monthly sales and growth in accordance with monthly targets.

Implement store disciplines as stipulated in Show file.

Adhere to and implement Procedures as stipulated in the Procedure manual.

Liaising with internal and external customers:

Ensure that general correspondence is adhered to as outlined by the Line Manager.

Assist in the annual stock take in all stores if and when required.

Address complaints and resolve problems within all stores as required.

Advise line manager of concerns relating to the operational issues and general correspondence.

Managing of Merchandisers:

Responsible for coaching merchandisers, planning, assigning, and directing work disciplining merchandisers; addressing complaints and resolving problems – all in conjunction with the Line manager.

Ensure that staff adhere to all Procedures and requirements as specified in the Sales procedure manual and Show file.

Incumbent to perform other duties as may be required from time to time.
