SUMMARY:
Sales Representative – Johannesburg (4 days in the field, 1 day in the office)

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers in telecom, construction, and infrastructure sectors.
Identify new sales opportunities and actively pursue new accounts within target regions.
Promote and sell HDPE ducting and piping products (including microducts, sub-ducts, and accessories).
Prepare and deliver product presentations and quotations tailored to client needs.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Conduct site visits and provide technical advice where required.
Track and report on market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
Attend trade shows, exhibitions, or networking events to promote brand and products.
Sales Target: R5 million – per month

Requirements:

Proven experience in HDPE piping sales (2+ years).
Strong understanding of HDPE product applications, especially in telecom, civils, or infrastructure sectors.
Technical aptitude to understand product specifications and applications.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally and regionally.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
Target-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
Strong organizational and reporting abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office; CRM knowledge is a plus.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, Engineering, or related field (advantageous but not essential).
