POSITION INFO:
Position Overview:
We are seeking an eager and motivated Sales Representative with 3 to 5 years of experience in construction-related sales, particularly in the hire and sale of formwork and scaffolding systems. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic individual who is passionate about growing client relationships, driving sales, and contributing to the success of a leading construction supplier in Gauteng.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in the formwork and scaffolding industry.
·        Promote and sell formwork and scaffolding systems to construction companies, contractors, and other key players in the industry.
·        Conduct product presentations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
·        Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients regarding formwork and scaffolding solutions.
·        Meet and exceed sales targets through proactive outreach, relationship-building, and identifying new business opportunities.
·        Regularly travel within Gauteng and surrounding areas to meet clients and expand the customer base.
·        Keep up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and product innovations.
·        Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
·        3 to 5 years of sales experience within the construction industry, specifically related to formwork and scaffolding.
·        In-depth knowledge of formwork and scaffolding systems.
·        Strong sales and negotiation skills with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.
·        Ability to understand and communicate technical specifications to clients.
·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
·        Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
·        A valid driver’s license with a reliable vehicle.
·        Construction Management or Engineering certification is advantageous.
