Sales / Purchase Order Assistant

SUMMARY:
Are you available to start immediately and have experience in sales administration, including processing sales orders, preparing quotations, invoicing, following up on deliveries, and building strong client relationships?

Our client based in Maitland, requires a numerically strong, bilingual (English and Afrikaans) candidate to work alongside the Managing Director, assisting with project administration, sales coordination, and customer liaison.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS

• Matric,
• Min 6 – 10 years experience with sales administration, taking orders, managing quotations and clients requirements through to completion and delivery 
• Accurate with figures and calculations
• Strong administration and intermediate excel skills
• Working with a team to ensure all projects are completed timeously and working together for execution of delivery
• Customer interaction and sales experience essential
• Strong personal work ethic and excellent communication skills
• Able to work overtime when required for urgent projects
• Sales systems or accounting package system like quickbooks advantageous

• Extensive client liaison with Key Accounts
• Order taking from clients and organisation of purchases requirements
• Managing and preparation of quotations
• Liaison with MD as to customer sales and administration requirements
• Enquiries and gain quotations for new product requests
• Gain understanding of customer requirements
• Managing of client requests through the sales chain process to invoice and the selling of value adds
• Managing the accounts and lead tracking software System
• Invoicing on QuickBooks
• Working closely with the team in fulfilling all projects are delivered timeously as per stipulated delivery date
• Follow through will full process from beginning to end ensuring everything is completed
