SUMMARY:
Well established engineering company situated in Wadeville urgently seeking an experienced / Technical Sales Manager to lead and mentor the Sales team.

POSITION INFO:

Seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Manager to lead our internal and external sales team as well as sales logistics. This role is instrumental in driving revenue growth, developing and
executing sales strategies, and ensuring that our team delivers an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will be an inspiring leader with a proven track record, extensive technical knowledge, and a passion for overcoming challenges.

Requirements and responsibilities:

• Leadership & Team Management

o Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of approximately 10 sales professionals (internal and external) and sales logistics staff.

o Set clear objectives and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
o Cultivate a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

• Strategy Development & Execution
o Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive sales strategies to achieve growth and revenue targets.
o Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
o Continuously evaluate and adapt strategies to align with market trends and customer needs.

• Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence
o Gather and analyse market data, including insights into competitors, customer needs, and industry trends.
o Provide actionable insights to optimize pricing strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

o Use data-driven approaches to refine sales plans and forecast performance.

• Customer Relationship Management
o Build and nurture strong relationships with customers, ranging from small businesses to large-scale enterprises.
o Lead negotiations on pricing and contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum of 5 years of Sales Management experience with a proven track record of success.
• Experience in the Engineering or manufacturing sales is highly advantageous.
• Strong Leadership Skills, lead and develop the team.
• Strong understanding of pricing structures and the ability to lead complex negotiations
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
