Sales Manager

SUMMARY:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and develop a high-performing team of Personal and Commercial Lines Sales Consultants.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• FAIS-recognised qualification (NQF Level 4 or higher).
• RE5 (Representative) – Essential.
• RE1 (Key Individual) – Advantageous.
• Class of Business (COB) certification where applicable.
• CPD requirements up to date.

Experience

• 5–8 years' experience within the short-term insurance industry.
• 3–5 years' experience managing and leading a sales team.
• Proven success in achieving sales and quality targets.
• Experience within an outbound sales/contact centre or broker environment is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of both Personal and Commercial Lines insurance products.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong leadership and coaching ability.
• Excellent sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of FAIS, FICA, POPIA, TCF and FSCA regulations.
• Strong analytical, reporting and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• High level of computer literacy, including CRM and policy administration systems (Salesforce/C360 advantageous).
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
