Sales Internship Programme (Motor Retail Industry)
Location: Cape Town (Cape Town City, Constantia)
Contract Type: 12-Month Internship (Fixed-term)
Start Date: 01 November 2025
Monthly Stipend: R10,000

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities

Welcome and engage prospective customers in the showroom and via leads.
Understand client needs and recommend suitable vehicles, features, and finance options.
Conduct vehicle presentations and arrange test drives.
Negotiate pricing, trade-ins, and financing in line with dealership guidelines.
Ensure accurate and compliant sales documentation.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and secure repeat business.
Stay current on product knowledge, competitor offerings, and market trends.
Maintain a professional showroom appearance and customer experience.
Promote value-added services (insurance, warranties, accessories, service plans).
Accurately capture and update customer info in the CRM system.

Requirements

NQF 6 diploma or degree in sales or marketing is required.
1–2 years of proven vehicle sales experience (new or used)
Valid driver’s license (Code 8 / Code B).
Computer literate (MS Office, CRM systems).
Knowledge of vehicle financing, insurance, and registration is advantageous.
