Job Title: Sales Consultant - Homeware
High-End Homeware Furnishings & Finishes
Location: Rosebank - Johannesburg
Salary: 18K-20K(DOE) + Comm & Benefits
High-end architectural design, luxury homeware & décor finishings, Exclusive furnishings for architects, interior designers & discerning homeowners.
Purpose
Enforce policies, ensure compliance, reduce risk, and lead showroom operations. Drive sales, manage stock, uphold merchandising standards, and deliver top-tier customer service.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate
- 3+ yrs retail sales (luxury brand preferred)
- Team coordination (advantageous)
- Homeware & POS experience
- Stock take management
- Strong communication (verbal & written)
- Customer-focused, sales-driven
- Professional, well-presented, self-motivated
- Sound business acumen
Key Duties
- Build lasting client relationships
- Sell luxury homeware; meet/exceed targets
- Manage showroom ops, stock management & orders
- Support payments & external sales team
- Building long-standing and productive relationships with customers
- Maintaining retail showroom standards and operations
- Deliver customer satisfaction
- Supporting the external sales consultants.
- Nature of the Role is heavy lifting of rugs and Allied products
