POSITION INFO:

An experienced Sales Executive is sought in Durban, KZN, to represent a well-established South African hospitality group.

Scope & General Purpose:

• To promote the image and services of the company so that maximum growth occurs through gaining new clients and contracts.

• Required to manage all aspects of sales, including sourcing and securing new business, relationship management, database management, business presentations, workshops and reports.

Requirements:

- Matric qualification and tertiary education in Sales & Marketing would be advantageous

- Minimum 5-year sales experience in Hospitality Industry with a proven track record

- Previous experience in the Hospitality industry with sales experience in the corporate, travel agents and government markets

- Excellent communication, customer service & organisation skills

- Ability to conduct presentations and meetings both professionally and with confidence

- Valid RSA ID

- Valid Driver’s License with own reliable car

- Position includes travel

- Must be available to attend functions after hours

- Dynamic self-starter with excellent negotiation skills

- Professional in approach and well presented

- Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Team player with a high level of dedication

- Good negotiation skills

- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
