Sales Executive

Requirements (qualifications, experience & skills):

• Minimum qualification - Matric
• Trade Test Qualification or Diploma in Sales / Marketing
• Minimum 5 years continuous experience in training industry, Assessor & moderator registration an added advantage
• Understanding in dealing with the SETA’s, QAP and SDP
• Microsoft Office skills
• Sales & Marketing Skills
• Effective business communication and presentation skills
• Immense & Intricate knowledge of the South African Education and Training sector (DHET, TVET, Seta, SAQA)
• Demonstrated understanding of OIHD related training requirements and customers
• Legislative knowledge Fundamental training understanding: Facilitator/ Assessor / Moderator/WSP
• High level of attention to even the smallest of details
• Excellent written and oral Communication
• Planning and Organising
• Confidentiality and Ethics
• Must be energetic, active and a go-getter
• Instructional development – understanding adult learning methods and instructional design
• Data analysis: ability to collect, gather, and analyze data and present concise actionable results
• Project Management

Role responsibilities:

• Responsible for all sales related activities from market scanning, customer identification, sales pitching, quotations to quote conversion (into Sales)
• Responsible for accurate and efficient intuitive reporting on Sales Activities, i.e. Pipeline, Orderbook, Quotation to order conversion, Outbound and Inbound sales activities, etc
• Full management of CRM
• Advise on high demand training interventions in the market in improving service offering portfolio
• Seamless and Interchangeable role in Sales Executive and Key Accounts Manager for major customers
• Focus efforts on increasing sales and customer base across all relevant geographical areas
• Diverse the business from traditional training offerings to include other related streams like assessor and moderator services, external and contractual facilitation in improving the facilitator utilisation
• Weekly reporting on sales call reports, tender bulletins and cyclical legal and mandatory training interventions
• Ensure customer requirements are monitoring and reporting of the utilisation of Facilitator assets, i.e. vehicle logbooks
• Review and contribute towards the improvement of all academy policies and process, i.e. QMS
