Underground Mining Equipment Specialists — Ready for Your Next Big Sales Role?

POSITION INFO:
A specialist supplier to the mining industry is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer with strong exposure to underground mining equipment.
This role is suited to a technically competent professional who understands underground operations and can engage confidently with mine engineers, production teams, and procurement decision-makers to deliver tailored equipment solutions.

Non-Negotiable Requirements

Proven experience selling equipment or technical solutions into underground mining operations
Solid understanding of underground mining environments and equipment applications
Strong ability to manage technical sales discussions with engineering teams
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to mine sites
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Job Experience & Skills Required

Identify and pursue equipment sales opportunities within underground mining operations
Build and maintain strong relationships with mining clients and key stakeholders
Conduct technical site visits and assess operational requirements
Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions
Manage the sales process from prospecting through to project completion
Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasting

A tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Mining, or Engineering-related fields will be advantageous.
