POSITION INFO:
Are you a go-getter with technical flair and a passion for building client relationships? A long-standing leader in industrial solutions is looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to join their Cape Town team and make a real impact across industries like mining, petrochem, power generation, and more.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

Mechanical or technical qualification (advantageous)
Knowledge of valves or instrumentation is a strong plus
Proven experience in technical sales
Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport
Willingness to travel for client visits

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Confident in planning and executing sales calls to existing and new clients
Skilled in preparing quotes, delivering presentations, and securing orders
Ability to cold-call and drive business development across key sectors
Must be self-motivated, proactive, and performance-driven
Strong understanding of overpressure protection, level/flow measurement, and automation solutions (preferred)
Committed to contributing to branch profitability and service excellence
