SUMMARY:
Selling solutions that save entire plants? KwaZulu-Natal needs a true industrial maintenance rainmaker.

POSITION INFO:
A leading player in heavy industrial corrosion protection and maintenance is expanding its footprint in KwaZulu-Natal. This role is perfect for a results-driven Sales Engineer who understands the realities of plant environments — shutdowns, coatings, repairs, wear protection, and keeping critical assets alive.

If you’ve sold maintenance services rather than catalogue products, this is where your expertise finally counts.

Non-Negotiable Requirements:

3–5 years sales experience in heavy industrial maintenance, coatings, corrosion protection, fabrication, or related plant services
Strong technical understanding of engineering environments (mining, petrochemical, water treatment, pulp & paper, manufacturing, etc.)
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across KwaZulu-Natal
Ability to read technical drawings and understand site-based repair scopes
A proven hunter with strong negotiation and client-relationship skills

Job Experience & Skills Required

Experience selling services, maintenance solutions, shutdown scopes, or repair projects
Ability to conduct plant visits, assess site conditions, and propose suitable solutions
Track record in business development, contractor engagement, and managing key accounts
Skilled in tendering, quoting, and presenting technical options to engineers and procurement
Strong problem-solving ability with a consultative, solution-based sales approach
