Century City, Cape Town | Office-Based | Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:00 UK Time | R15,000 basic per month + performance-related commission

THE ROLE: SALES DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE (SDR) — BEAUTY & SPA

We are hiring two Sales Development Representatives to join the Beauty & Spa new business team in Cape Town.

This is an outbound, new-business role focused on building your own pipeline of beauty and spa merchants, cold calling prospects to generate interest, qualifying opportunities and booking meetings for Senior Sales Representatives, who will take those meetings through to close.

The role is high-activity and target-driven. Candidates may range from those new to sales and eager to learn through to experienced SDRs looking for their next challenge. Full training on the product, process and category is provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively source and build your own pipeline of prospective beauty and spa merchants, including salons, spas, aesthetics clinics, wellness and grooming businesses.
• Cold call prospects daily to introduce the platform, generate interest and identify genuine partnership opportunities.
• Qualify leads against agreed criteria before booking meetings.
• Book and schedule meetings for Senior Sales Representatives, who will run the meetings and close the partnerships.
• Achieve weekly targets of 10 meetings booked and 7 meetings attended.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline, call activity and lead status information in the CRM.
• Work closely with assigned Senior Sales Representatives to provide context ahead of each meeting and ensure a smooth handover.
• Handle early objections professionally and qualify prospects out where there is not a suitable opportunity.
• Stay up to date on the beauty and spa market and the platform’s offering to ensure conversations remain credible and relevant.
• Meet daily outbound call volume and talk-time targets set with your manager.
• Maintain lead and pipeline hygiene within the CRM.

ABOUT YOU

Essential

• Excellent spoken English and a confident, professional phone manner.
• Comfortable making a high volume of outbound cold calls every day.
• Resilient, coachable and motivated by clear weekly targets.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own pipeline and diary.
• A genuine team player who works well with Senior Sales Representatives and shares context to support a smooth handover.

Desirable

• Previous experience in an SDR, telesales, outbound sales or appointment-setting role.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot or similar.
• An interest in, or existing network within, the beauty and spa industry.
