Introduction

Palfinger Southern Africa is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Representative to market and sell our industry-leading lifting and material handling solutions. If you have a passion for sales, customer relationship management, and business development, we invite you to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Market and sell Palfinger's full range of products and related services, including:
- Truck-mounted cranes
- Aerial platforms
- Hook lifts
- Skip loaders
- UN Forklifts
- Epsilon timber and recycling cranes
- Tail lifts and column lifts
- Container side loaders
Develop and manage customer relationships within designated regions.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
Prepare professional quotations and sales proposals.
Maintain and update customer and sales databases.
Provide exceptional customer service and support.
Report on sales activities, customer visits, leads, quotations and orders.
Prepare weekly planning schedules and monthly sales reports.
Coordinate projects with engineering and production departments.
Monitor project progress from design through delivery and warranty support.
Attend sales meetings and collaborate with management and colleagues.
Ensure compliance with Company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Proven experience in sales, preferably within the industrial, engineering, automotive, or equipment sectors.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating new business.
Ability to manage multiple projects and customer requirements simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel extensively.
