Our client, based in the East of Pretoria, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Consultant to oversee the daily operations of their boutique jewellery store and workshop. Minimum Requirements

• Previous experience in retail management, boutique operations, or luxury retail.
• Jewellery, fashion, or high-value retail experience will be highly advantageous.
• Strong operational and administrative management experience.
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Financial and numerical literacy.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence using digital tools.
• Social media management experience will be advantageous.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Oversee the daily opening and closing of the boutique.
• Ensure the secure handling and storage of high-value jewellery and precious items.
• Coordinate security, internet connectivity, and overall store presentation.
• Maintain a safe, professional, and welcoming retail environment.
• Manage inventory of jewellery, precious metals, gemstones, and workshop materials.
• Coordinate stock valuations and maintain accurate records.
• Order materials and packaging supplies as required.
• Track gold purchases and ensure stock accuracy.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, credit notes, and valuation certificates.
• Coordinate production timelines between clients and the workshop.
• Manage client communications, follow-ups, online orders, and collections.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience from enquiry through to collection.
• Liaise with jewellers and external suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time.
• Manage production schedules and supplier relationships.
• Coordinate procurement and workshop requirements.
• Maintain FIC documentation and regulatory records.
• Support payroll administration and staff documentation.
• Assist with financial reconciliations, reporting, and accounting administration.
• Ensure accurate business records and operational compliance.
• Manage the company's social media presence.
• Coordinate website updates and online product listings.
• Capture content showcasing completed jewellery pieces.
• Respond to online enquiries and monitor sales leads.
