SUMMARY:
Our prestigious client in the Financial Industry (Public Sector) has an EE opportunity available for a Sales Consultant: Life to be based in the Centurion area.

POSITION INFO:
Preferred minimum education and experience requirements:

• Business Degree
• RE 5
• FAIS Representative
• B Com (Accounting/Insurance) or equivalent
• 5 years’ experience in sales, key account management, portfolio management and deal structuring  
• 2-4 years Insurance Experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office
• Knowledge and understanding of the insurance products and services available to the agricultural industry to stay abreast of the industry with attractive agricultural insurance products and services
• Ability to navigate FSB site and verify intermediary credentials
• Insurance experience, in particular, life products / long term credit products
• Knowledge of Short term and long term insurance industry
• Knowledge of relevant legislation applicable to insurance companies such as FAIS Act, Short and long term Insurance Acts
• Valid driver''s license
• Must be willing to travel extensively

• Achievement of Sales targets in the designated Sales Channel
• Manage Stakeholder Relationships
• Provide Support to Sales Staff on Insurance Products
• Train the relevant Staff (wholesale partners) on products, processes, computer systems and claims
• Conduct continuous broker training on products
• Have a Marketing Plan for each partner to sell existing products and launch new products
• Determine the requirements related to the selling and launching of new/improved products
• Manage Branding, Advertising and Events for each channel/partner
