Sales Consultant

POSITION INFO:

Introduction

The Sales Department requires a consultant to promote services to the Motor Dealer Industry and to meet sales targets. The objective is to provide a high level of visibility and support to increase installation volumes from this distribution channel. We are seeking a self-starter with an outgoing personality who can communicate confidently at all levels. The position will be Middelburg based. As this position involves travelling, a valid Driver’s Licence is essential.

Job description

Secure new business from Dealerships.
Facilitate growth of installations at Service Centres.
Provide policy/product information and training.
Follow up service on existing and prospective clients.
Conduct client presentations.
Expand area and market penetration.
Resolve client queries and accounts.
Achieve sales and operational targets set by management.
Provide client service to both existing and prospective clients.
Administer sales contracts.
Complete weekly activity reports.
Attend to point of sale material at Dealership and Service Centres.
Maintain set call rate.
Achieve sales targets regarding assigned projects.
Conduct monthly stock takes at Service Centres.
Manage demo account conversion and administration.
Maintain Dealer File records.
Attend to necessary administration.
Attend occasional after-hour functions.
Matric and a minimum of 3 years’ Sales/Marketing experience in the Motor Trade, or 5 years overall sales experience.
Proficiency in MS-Office.
Excellent presentation skills.
Valid Driver’s Licence.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
