POSITION INFO:

Department: Acquisitions and Sales

This role is responsible for providing, monitoring, evaluating and recording effective coaching and training activities related to improving sales effectiveness as well as design training and coaching materials.

Responsibilities:

ØConduct live side-by-side coaching sessions with Sales Agents in an effort to optimise sales effectives.
ØConducting technical sales coaching sessions with all new Sales Agents, as well as training sessions where required.
ØProvide on-going relevant training with existing Sales Agents to improve the quality of sales conversions.
ØFacilitate fit-for-purpose calibration sessions to improve call quality, sales and customer experience within the Sales department.
ØDeliver on all sales coaching and training needs as identified by internal or external stakeholders.
ØProvide guidance and assistance to the relevant managers and staff in developing individual coaching plans for sales effectiveness.
ØDevelop relevant sales effectiveness materials, including presentations and sales scripts as required.
ØProactively identify training and coaching needs and develop suitable training programmes on a regular basis.
ØAssess and identify coaching needs through relevant mechanisms such as surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers and key stakeholders.
ØEnsure effective training and quality assurance practices are implemented and maintained.
ØEvaluate training intervention results and document recommendations.
ØShare monthly and quarterly reports with all stakeholders on the impact of implemented training initiatives.
ØAnalyse sales reports together with relevant managers and provide specialist input to improve outcomes.
ØIdentify the key performance indicators for the team to ensure effective development, coordination and presentation of the training programmes.
ØResponsible for ensuring that all relevant policy guidelines and standards pertaining to the technical training  environment are strictly adhered to and that all compliance requirements are adhered to continuously.

Qualifications:

ØDiploma or related qualification within Coaching, Learning and Development; Training and Facilitation; or related fields.
ØRelevant RE5 and FAIS certifications.
ØCertified Accredited Assessor, Moderator, Facilitator & Accreditation in Designing Learning Material.
ØMinimum 3 Years’ contact centre experience in an insurance sales environment.
ØMinimum 2 Years’ previous sales training or coaching experience.
Ø2 Years’ experience as a Technical Sales Manager within an Insurance Call Centre environment.
