JOB DESCRIPTION:

I have a career-launching opportunity for an aspiring Analyst to join a rapidly growing SME in the consumer product sector. The successful candidate will support the sales team and the organisation in making data driven decisions. The role will focus on compiling and analysing sales and market data and providing valuable feedback and actionable insights to guide the organisations promotional and sales activities.

Responsibilities:

Examine sales reports to identify sales patterns and areas for improvement
Monitoring and evaluating sales performance
Rolling sales forecast including sales to budget variance analysis
Sales reporting and forecasting
Sourcing sales data for analysis as required
Identify markets to target with marketing and promotional efforts
Sales reporting and forecasting

Requirements:

Degree / Diploma in Finance / Stats / Maths / Accounting
1 - 2 years' experience in finance and analysis
Highly numerate and analytical with a penchant for figures
Good knowledge and abilities related to data interpretation
Advanced Excel skills essential, exposure to BI tools advantageous
Investigative nature, keem problem solving skills
Tenacious, driven and hungry to learn
Important logistical points are that the role is 100% office-based and located in the Southern Suburbs - please only reach out if this suits you
