JHB - Sales Administrator to support sales team of a training provider based in JHB Northern Suburbs

POSITION INFO:
Our client, a specialised training institute is seeking a proactive and organised Sales & Marketing Support Administrator to support the Sales Department in achieving enrolment and income targets while maintaining excellent client and employer relationships.
The successful candidate will provide administrative, marketing, and business development support to ensure smooth departmental operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Sales Support

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales Department.
• Assist the team in meeting funding and enrolment targets across all income streams.
• Prepare and word-process correspondence, reports, agendas, minutes, and other documentation.
• Organise and coordinate meetings and events.
• Maintain accurate electronic and manual filing systems.
• Manage incoming client enquiries and ensure professional customer service.
• Support the preparation and distribution of marketing materials.
• Assist with marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and events.

• Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
• Build relationships with Skills Development Facilitators, HR & Training Managers, BEE Consultants, and Compliance Officers.
• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and business growth.
• Provide feedback on market trends and customer needs.

• Diploma or qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field advantageous.
• Previous experience in administration, sales support, customer service, or marketing.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, client-focused, and detail-oriented approach.
• Experience within training, education, or financial services environments will be advantageous.
