Sales & Marketing Secretarial Coordinator

You will be required to provide administrative support to the Marketing team by creating purchase requisitions, sales and monthly reports, tracking of sales data; presenting figures and targets at monthly reviews; quality-checking of documents. Develop all communication to be sent through to the relevant strategic customers and develop the marketing agenda for social media.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• Grade 12
• Certificate in Marketing / Public Relations or related fields (NQF 5) or
• Advantage Diploma in Sales and Marketing / Public Relations or related fields (NQF 6)
• 3 years experience as in Marketing Co-Ordinator or Sales & Marketing Secretary capacity of which, 1-2 years should be at Supervisory level
• Knowledge of Public Relations, Sales and Marketing procedures
• Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite and SAP, ERP Systems and other job-specific software systems)
• Communication skills (both verbal and written)

Key Role Responsibilities

• Provides administrative support to the Sales & Marketing team by collating, reviewing, maintaining, updating information, records and documentation for submission.
• Procuring and distributing all POS material for the full customer base.
• Assist the Marketing Executive in preparing briefs for internal/external stakeholders.
• Booking of flights, accommodations and entertainment on Travel IT online booking system.
• Plan and conduct National Sales trips, attend Social functions, trade shows, conferences, factory visits as required.
• Distributes internal and external communications for public relations.
• Develops all communication to be sent through to the relevant strategic customers.
• Procures and develops all local promotions (purchasing novelties etc.).
• Assists the Sales and Marketing Executive with website updates and ensures search engines are optimised.
• Develops marketing agendas for social media.
• Delivers exceptional service that exceeds customers’ expectations through proactive, innovative and appropriate solutions
• Controls expenditure and ensures spending occurs within budgetary limits and company financial guidelines, report deviations to direct Manager.
