Ready to take your accounting experience beyond traditional finance and into ERP consulting? This is an opportunity for an Afrikaans-speaking finance professional who has completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles to build a career combining accounting expertise, technology, consulting and client engagement.

As a Sage Implementation Consultant, you will guide clients through end-to-end Sage ERP implementations, translating their financial and operational requirements into practical system solutions. You will work across requirements gathering, business process analysis, system configuration, user training, documentation, go-live support and ongoing system optimisation.

The role offers exposure to multiple clients and projects in a fast-paced consulting environment, with opportunities to develop deeper expertise in ERP implementation and Sage functionality. You will need to be comfortable managing competing deadlines, working independently and engaging directly with clients, including travelling to client sites when required.

What You'll Do

• Lead and manage full-cycle Sage ERP implementations for new and existing clients

• Analyse business processes and gather client requirements

• Configure Sage solutions according to client needs

• Deliver user training and post-implementation support

• Work closely with clients and internal teams throughout project delivery

• Prepare project plans, functional specifications, status reports and supporting documentation

• Identify opportunities for business process improvement and system optimisation

• Act as a subject matter expert on Sage functionality and best practices

• Support client meetings, workshops and go-live activities, including on-site engagements where required

What You Bring

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field

• Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles

• Afrikaans-speaking proficiency

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong client relationship and service skills

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for deliverables

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Previous systems implementation or consulting experience is advantageous

• Exposure to ERP platforms such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics or SAP Business One is advantageous

• Data analysis and report-writing capabilities are advantageous

• Project management knowledge or certification is advantageous

• Willingness and ability to travel to client sites when required
