SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR/EAST LONDON
Requirements:
Minimum Grade 12 (copy to be submitted with application)
Valid code 08 Drivers license (may be required to move vehicles occasionally)
Previous experience in a receptionist, or customer service role
Motor Industry experience is advantageous
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional telephone manner
Microsoft Office, excel, word, outlook, familiarity with dealership management systems is a plus (DMS)
Friendly, professional demeanour, and strong customer-focused attitude
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers and visitors to the dealership in a friendly, professional manner
Answer and manage high volumes of incoming calls, using multi-line phone system, directing them to the appropriate department, notify staff of customer arrivals, ensure comfort and well-being of customer in the waiting area
Perform routine clerical duties such as filing, scanning, data entry, typing correspondence, maintaining customer records, printing job cards, doing follow up calls on Stellantis clients
Provide basic information to customers about the dealerships products, services and policies
