STORE MANAGER / GONUBIE

Minimum Requirements:

Matric

Valid drivers license and own reliable transport

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Management role (Printing, Design, Courier, Logistics Industry experience advantageous)

Impeccable honesty and integrity; Self-management and punctuality

Basic bookkeeping skills

Healthy and agile

Problem solving mindset, and ability to work under pressure

Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and outlook

Design & Artwork editing skills

Clean criminal record

Core duties include:

Staff Management: Train, schedule, and supervise staff. Evaluate staff performance. Checking quality of work done prior to handover.

Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive professional, efficient and friendly customer service. Handling customer complaints and insurance claims.

Design and Edit: Design and edit images to be used on wide format printing, or as per customer specification.

Financial Administration: Monitor daily receipts, manage takings, float and cash flow. Send out monthly accounts, managing debtors’ book. Do banking. Capturing daily and monthly sales. Produce and submit sales reports monthly. Submission of accounting information to accountants.

Store Operations: Control stock, order stationery/supplies, and ensure store equipment (copiers, printers) is operational. Identify slow stock, introduce new stock. Collect stock from suppliers.

Profitability: Drive sales and ensure that monthly sales targets are reached. Adjust pricing as and when required. Negotiate pricing with suppliers. Checking service provider billing.

Marketing: Attend functions as and when required to promote the business. Ensure that social media and printed advertising is regularly updated and circulated. Stay abreast of community events, identifying marketing and sales opportunities. Networking with the community and tenants.

Salary - market related plus commission
