STORE MANAGER – AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

POSITION INFO:

STORE MANAGER – AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS

Our client, a well-established agricultural milling company, is looking for an experienced Store Manager to oversee their agricultural products store and provide expert support to farmers.

Location: Bloemfontein, Free State

Salary: Market Related

Working Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm

Start Date: ASAP

Minimum Requirements:

National Senior Certificate or equivalent (NQF 4)

Proven experience in retail or agricultural management

Strong knowledge of agricultural products and their applications

Valid driver’s license and own reliable transport

Intermediate proficiency in MS Office

Key Competencies:

In-depth knowledge of agricultural products

Strong leadership and team management skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets

Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills

Experience in inventory and operational process management

Customer-focused with strong relationship-building skills

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient performance

Manage inventory levels, including ordering, stocking, and stock control

Provide professional advice on agricultural products to support farmers

Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff to achieve targets

Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, and operational data

Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders

Monitor and manage store budgets and expenses

Handle customer queries and complaints professionally
