A well-established and growing short-term insurance company with a strong presence in the commercial and personal lines market located in the East Rand.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled Loss Adjuster to join the Motor Insurance division, based at the client’s Bedfordview offices.

You will be responsible for:

Handling motor insurance claims, with a primary focus on commercial lines and some personal lines.
Investigating, assessing, and adjusting claims in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Liaising with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient resolution of claims.
Preparing detailed reports and recommendations on claim outcomes.
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal processes.

Qualifications

RE5 Regulatory Examination.
NQF Level 5 qualification in Short-Term Insurance.
Solid background working within an insurer environment.

Skills

The successful candidate will have:

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within an insurer environment, with proven exposure to motor insurance claims (commercial lines essential)
Strong technical knowledge of motor insurance claims (commercial and personal lines).
Excellent analytical and investigative skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple claims simultaneously.
Strong communication and negotiation skills for dealing with clients and stakeholders.
High attention to detail and sound decision-making ability.
