SMI 19087 - Legal Secretary – Collections Litigation (Vehicle Asset Finance) | East Rand

Our client is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join its busy Collections Litigation Department.

This role will provide dedicated support to a Litigation Attorney, with a primary focus on drafting and managing summons matters within a high-volume vehicle asset finance collections environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Draft and prepare summonses and related litigation documents.
• Manage collections litigation files from inception to finalisation.
• Prepare default judgments, warrants and execution documentation.
• Liaise with clients, debtors, sheriffs, correspondents and attorneys.
• Monitor court deadlines and ensure compliance with Magistrates’ Court and High Court procedures.
• Maintain accurate electronic records and legal documentation.
• Attend to collections-related correspondence and reporting.
• Assist with vehicle repossession and enforcement processes.
