Job Description

Our client is looking to employ an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join their well-established and reputable law firm. The successful candidate will become part of a collaborative, high-performing team and will be expected to demonstrate professionalism, strong legal expertise, and excellent client service.

You will be responsible for:

Handling all aspects of civil litigation, including divorces and related matters
Drafting and reviewing applications, summonses, affidavits, notices, and other court documents
Representing clients in the High Court, Magistrate’s Court, Labour Court, and Land Claims Court
Managing files efficiently and maintaining clear communication with clients, Advocates, Sheriffs, and The Master’s Office
Supporting a culture of learning, collaboration, and excellence within the firm

Qualifications

LLB Degree from an accredited University
Admitted Attorney in the High Court of South Africa

Skills

The successful candidate will have:

3 – 5 years post-admission experience in civil litigation
Fluency in English and Afrikaans
Experience with Ghost Practice will be advantageous
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality work
