Job Description

Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Bond Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of conveyancing and bond registration processes. You will be responsible for:

Handling bond registrations and related transactions
Ensuring compliance with the Bank’s processing guidelines
Liaising with banks, clients, and attorneys to facilitate bond transactions
Preparing and managing bond documents and securities efficiently
Managing bond documents and securities with precision and overseeing all administrative tasks related to bond matters.

Qualifications

The relevant qualification will apply

Skills

The successful candidate will have:

Minimum 4 years of experience as a Bonds Secretary
Experience with the 4 major banks’ bond processes will be advantageous
Strong knowledge of bond registration procedures
Sound understanding of conveyancing processes
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Accuracy and strong attention to detail are essential
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to work with a high volume of instructions
Proficiency in legal conveyancing and bank/bond software – Lexisconvey, E4, Webconvey, Stordoc
