SKILLED FITTER - MINING EQUIPMENT (ROCKY DRIFT, MPUMALANGA)

SUMMARY:
A reputable manufacturing operation within the underground mining equipment sector is seeking a qualified and experienced Skilled Fitter to join its assembly team. The role involves the mechanical assembly of heavy-duty mining machines, including sub-systems, driveline components, and hydraulic systems, ensuring all builds meet strict quality and safety standards.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Trade Tested Fitter (Red Seal preferred)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy engineering or mining equipment manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical/engineering drawings
• Experience assembling heavy components and complex machinery
• Proven fault-finding and mechanical problem-solving ability
• Sound understanding of workshop safety standards
