POSITION INFO:
Qualification

Matric
Relevant Tertiary Qualification in Environmental Health, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field would be an advantage

Requirements

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a SHEQ role within the food industry
Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001 / FSSC 22000)
Strong understanding of food safety regulations and compliance requirements
Experience with food manufacturing audits and regulatory inspections
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

Duties

Management of Safety, Health, Environment and Quality system
Risk management and ensure that legal compliance is maintained in all SHEQ matters
Conducting incident/accident investigations
Training and development of employees in SHEQ principles
Management of health and safety representatives and committees
Preparation for and auditing of quality assurance systems (FSSC 22000/ISO 9001)
Management of PPE
