SHEQ Administrator | Bellville

SUMMARY:
Looking for a detail-oriented SHEQ Administrator to support the Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality (SHEQ) function. The role involves maintaining compliance documentation, coordinating audits, tracking performance metrics, and assisting with continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update SHEQ management systems (ISO 9001 and OHS regulations)
• Ensure records, reports, and documentation are accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Support incident reporting, investigations, and compliance tracking.
• Assist in SHEQ training and awareness programs for staff.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and support certification requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a SHEQ or compliance-related role, preferably in manufacturing or engineering.
• Knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 45001) and OHS regulations.
• SAMTRAC or equivalent SHEQ qualification will be advantageous.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with SHEQ management systems/software an advantage.
• Assist with the implementation and improvements of the company Health and Safety policies and procedures and the Quality Management System
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Role will report to the Operational Manager
