SUMMARY:
SEO Manager - Randburg

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

vPlan, develop and implement SEO strategies for clients.

vWork towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization.

vRegularly perform thorough keywords research.

vIdentify key SEO KPI’s for clients.

vDirect off-page optimization projects (e.g. link-building).

vOptimize website content, landing pages and paid search copy.

vMonitor redirects, click rate, bounce rate, and other KPI’s as determined.

vCollect data and report on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects.

vPrepare and present reports regularly.

vIdentify correct LSM persona to better target identified audiences.

vIdentify problems and deficiencies and implement solutions in a timely manner.

vSuggest improvements in process and productivity optimization.

vCollaborate with internal teams to ensure optimal roll-outs of strategies.

vStay up-to-date with the latest SEO and digital advertising trends and best practices.

vWork with social media and PPC teams to optimize campaigns.

vKeeping track of timelines and deadlines to ensure that jobs are on-track to completion.

vMentoring mid- and junior team members in SEO skills.

vMaintaining communication with all Agency stakeholders at all times to ensure the smooth running and actioning of open briefs in the system and to mitigate any foreseeable problems by reassigning jobs accordingly to available resources.

Minimum Requirements include:

vMatric/Grade 12.

vTertiary qualification in SEO/Digital Advertising.

vAt least 5 years of experience as SEO Manager or similar role; preferably within an advertising agency environment.

vProven track record in planning and implementing a successful SEO strategy.

vAt least 5 years of experience in web analytics.

vWorking knowledge of standard and current SEO practices.

vExperienced with SEO reporting.

vExpertise in A/B and other testing methods.

vExpertise with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

vExperienced with relevant SEO tools and web analytics tools.

vIn-depth knowledge of research principles and methods and experience in analysing data.

vStrong leadership skills with a collaborative management style.

vCritical thinker and problem-solving skills.

vAnalytical mind-set with numerical aptitude.

vCollaborative team player. Good time-management skills.

vGreat interpersonal and communication skills.
