Hours: 07:30 – 16:30

Our client is looking for an experienced and technically skilled Senior Packaging Technician to oversee packaging operations, maintain equipment performance, and support efficient production processes. If you have strong maintenance experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this opportunity could be for you! 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- National Senior Certificate or equivalent to NQF 4
- Minimum 5 years’ technical maintenance experience
- Experience with automated packaging machinery advantageous
- Electrical or Maintenance Diploma advantageous
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong leadership, problem-solving & communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

COMPUTER SKILLS
- MS Office proficiency required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct daily inspections on automated and manual packaging equipment
- Perform fault finding, troubleshooting & breakdown repairs
- Ensure machines operate at optimal efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and arrange parts when required
- Coordinate packaging technicians and support maintenance activities
- Attend to after-hours breakdowns when necessary
- Maintain packaging machinery to ensure smooth production operations
