SCAFFOLD SUPERVISOR

SUMMARY:
Seeking a skilled Scaffold Supervisor to oversee day-to-day activities of the scaffolding team, ensuring safe and efficient installation, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures on construction sites. Must have 4-6 years of relevant experience in scaffolding operations with 2 years in a supervisory role.

POSITION INFO:

  • Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure team efficiency.

  • Coordinate scaffolding activities with project managers and site engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and safety standards.
• Safety Compliance
  • Enforce and promote a strong safety culture within the team.
  • Conduct regular safety briefings, inspections, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Quality Assurance
  • Oversee quality inspections of scaffolding structures.
  • Implement corrective actions to address any deficiencies.

• Precise and On-Time submission of any type of documents/reports/data.
• Complete tasks efficiently and stay within budget as part of your job responsibilities

• Provide input to other departments or parties as needed on time.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and supervise a team of scaffolders and yard operatives, assigning tasks, and ensuring effective communication.
• Coordinate scaffolding activities with project managers and site engineers, ensuring alignment with project requirements, timelines, and specifications.
• Oversee the safe and efficient installation, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures according to design and safety standards.
• Enforce and promote a strong safety culture within the team, conducting regular safety briefings, toolbox talks, and inspections.
• Conduct regular quality inspections of scaffolding structures, ensuring compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
• Implement corrective actions to address any deficiencies in scaffolding structures or installation processes.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary materials for scaffolding projects.
• Maintain accurate records of scaffolding activities, inspections, safety reports, and project progress.
• Address and resolve any issues or challenges related to scaffolding operations, safety, or team performance.

• Maintain supportive documentation to substantiate the actual performance for all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined in the Balanced Scorecard (BSC).

• Familiarity with scaffolding materials, methods, and industry standards.
