SAP Consultant (PP)

Cape Town

Superb career opportunity with growing world class manufacturer. Reporting into the global head office you will be responsible for:

• Analysis, development and description of logistics business processes with a focus on production
• Coordination of the requirements with the specialist departments
• Creation and implementation of solution concepts for production
• Consulting of the departments regarding performance and optimal use of the systems
• Design and technical implementation of IT concepts through customizing
• Conception and programming of new SAP functions
• Training and support for SAP key users
• Taking over project management for the implementation of business processes based on SAP
• Support and further development of the SAP production processes

Qualifications and experience

• A relevant degree/ Computer science, business informatics or a successfully completed apprenticeship as a computer scientist with two years of advanced training and relevant work experience
• Several years of professional experience in supporting the SAP module PP and business processes in logistic and production
• Good process knowledge of supply chain management
• Relevant experience in application development SAP including ABAP programming as well as experience in SAP Fiori, or SAP UI5
• Good knowledge of project management methods and -tools and software development methods, such as Scrum and Kanban, are desirable
