SALES REPRESENTATIVE

• Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
• Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
• Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
• Prepare presentations, proposals.
• Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.  
• Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
• Manage account through quality checks and other follow-up.
• Identify and resolve client concerns.
• Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
• Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
• Assist company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
• Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
• Handling customer queries and complaints.
• Liaise on a daily basis with the sales and production team.
• Ensure a high level of relationship exists.
• Participate in team meetings and prepare for discussions.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Implementation and maintenance of IMS policies, procedures and requirements within his/her area of responsibility.
• Report potential risks/hazards, Conduct of risk assessments and maintenance of risk assessments and related mitigations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Matric / Grade 12
• Diploma / qualification in Sales Management
• 3 - 5 years in a direct selling industry
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Must have a valid Driver''s license
• Willing to travel to local current and potential clients
• Good time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
