SUMMARY:
Our Client, leaders in the steel and tube industry require an experienced Sales Manager with retail steel and tube knowledge.

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Grade 12 / equivalent

Experience and requirements:

8 or more years recent working experience as a Sales Manager with the retail steel and tube industry is essential and not negotiable
Computer literate
Valid driver’s licence
Have a stable work record and contactable references
Reside in Gauteng
Able to work retail hours
Honest and trustworthy as you will be required to assist with opening and closing of the branch
A clear criminal record
Bilingual in English and Afrikaans
Able to work under pressure and manage a team of experienced internal and external sales staff
The incumbent will be responsible for leading, managing and focusing on the sales team’s activities to achieve the projected / budgeted revenue targets for pre-defined market segments.
Overall responsibility for all sales related activities
Directing management responsibility for the Sales team
Developing methods to gain and report market intelligence
Setting and reviewing of sales budgets and forecasts
Assisting with quotations on large orders
Assisting sales staff with closing deals
Dealing with Customers
