SUMMARY:
To drive technical solution selling across process industries, focusing on instrumentation for measurement, control, and automation, the role blends engineering expertise with commercial acumen to grow market share, support customers, and position the company as a trusted technical partner.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Technical Solution Selling — Engage with clients to understand process conditions, measurement challenges, and application requirements; propose fit‑for‑purpose instrumentation solutions.
Business Development — Identify new opportunities across various industries including mining, chemicals, water treatment, energy, and manufacturing sectors.
Customer Support — Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical assistance, including product selection, sizing, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Product Demonstrations — Conduct site visits, presentations, and demonstrations of flow, level, pressure, temperature, and analytical instrumentation.
Tender & Proposal Management — Prepare quotations, technical proposals, and bid documentation aligned with customer specifications.
Market Intelligence — Track competitor activity, pricing trends, and emerging technologies to inform strategy.
Sales Reporting — Maintain CRM data, pipeline forecasts, and monthly sales performance reports.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualification in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
3–7 years’ experience in technical sales, field instrumentation, or industrial automation.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets in industrial sectors.
Valid driver’s licence with reliable transport and willingness to travel to customer sites.
Ability to interpret P&IDs, datasheets, and technical specifications.
A proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Remuneration

Negotiable market related package including travel allowance with fuel and commission
