SAIPA Article Clerk

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAIPA Article Clerk / Trainee Accountant to join our client's team in Nelspruit. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and a genuine interest in developing their career as a Professional Accountant (SA).

POSITION INFO:

• Assist with bookkeeping and accounting functions.
• Capture and process financial transactions.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of annual financial statements.
• Assist with VAT and other statutory returns.
• Assist with income tax calculations and submissions.
• Assist with monthly management accounts.
• Assist with debtors and creditors reconciliations.
• Assist with general ledger processing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Assist senior accountants with client assignments.
• Assist with accounting-related client queries.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within required deadlines.
• Gain the required practical experience throughout the SAIPA training contract.
