Our client is seeking a SAICA Accountant to join their growing professional team. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who has recently completed their SAICA training contract within a  firm and Registered Auditors and has strong advanced CaseWare experience.

The organisation is a well-established professional services firm specialising in accounting, tax, and advisory services. It forms part of a broader network of audit and accounting practices and operates within a regulated environment aligned to IRBA, SAICA, and SAIPA standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns
• Execution of audit and assurance engagements in line with auditing standards
• Working under the supervision of experienced Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors
• Participation in client meetings and direct client communication
• Assisting with accounting, tax, and advisory services across multiple industries
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulations and industry best practices
• Collaborating with team members to deliver high-quality client outcomes

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Accredited undergraduate degree in Accounting (BCom Accounting / BCom Accounting Sciences or equivalent)
• Completed SAICA training contract

• Experience gained within a small firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors
• Advanced CaseWare experience is essential

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong technical understanding of accounting, tax, and auditing principles
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong communication and client engagement skills
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
