Job Summary:
At a broad scale, a robotics technician is responsible for configuring, testing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting robots, as well as other automated systems used in production. Their primary goal is to increase the efficiency and prolong the life of robotic equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Job Description
· Prepare and setup robot.
· Changing robots’ parts after or before mould change.
· Ensure maintenance is carried out all the time.
· No loses connection and covers on robots.
· Daily and weekly checks and report any fault on the robot to production foreman.
· Observe and adjust robot setup and operations to avoid defective products and unnecessary downtime.
Abilities
· Communication - Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
· Thinking process – Ability to use judgement to make sound decisions.
· Knowledge of plastic manufacturing
· Strong work ethic.
· Reliable, responsible, committed.
· The ability read and writes.
· Skills to effectively manage time.
Minimum Requirements:
· Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience in similar position.
· Minimum 1 years’ experience in plastic industry a must.
· Qualifications: Minimum Matric.
