SUMMARY:

We are looking for a skilled Rigger with 3-5 years of underground mining experience for a Contractor position in JHB - Central.

Minimum Requirements:

Recognised Rigger Trade Certificate
Valid Red Ticket / Medical Fitness Certificate
Minimum 3-5 years underground mining experience
Experience with lifting equipment, chain blocks, and rigging practices
Knowledge of underground lifting and safety procedures

Mandatory Certifications:

Valid Working at Heights Certificate
Confined Space Certificate
Power Tools Training Certificate

Key Responsibilities:

Perform rigging and lifting operations underground
Inspect and maintain lifting equipment
Ensure safe movement and positioning of heavy equipment
Conduct pre-use inspections of rigging gear
Assist with installations and shutdown activities
Ensure compliance with mine safety standards
