Minimum Requirements:

-Well presented and professional

-Afrikaans and English first and second languages a must

-Matric / Grade 12

-Relevant Diploma / Degree preferred

-Minimum 3 years experience AS A RETAIL BUYER, specifically in retail and industrial purchasing a must

-Responsible and reliable, with strong administrative skills

-Computer literate in MS Office (Pastel Evolution advantageous)

-High attention to detail and accuracy, and able to handle large volumes

-Excellent verbal and communication skills with fluency in Afrikaans and English.

-Stable employment record and contactable References

-To start as soon as possible

Duties:

-Full buyer functions of wholesales packaging supplier (Integral part of Procurement function in Company)

-Placing orders and price negotiations

-Manage stock levels – Inventory optimisation

-Souring quality suppliers and stock

-Identifying / sourcing of stock items

-Supplier liaison, follow-up with suppliers concerning deliveries / special orders

-Assist Sales Department with special stock inquiries.

-Stock Take

Salary: ± R 12 000.00 – R 16 000.00 gross (negotiable depending on experience)
