SUMMARY:
Are you an experienced Revit Piping Draughtsman with a passion for delivering high-quality 3D piping models and detailed engineering drawings? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company specialising in water infrastructure projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams on technically challenging projects from concept through to construction.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop accurate 3D piping models using Autodesk Revit.
Produce detailed piping layouts, isometrics, general arrangement (GA) drawings, spool drawings, and fabrication drawings.
Interpret and model information from P&IDs, engineering specifications, and process flow diagrams.
Coordinate piping models with mechanical, structural, civil, electrical, and instrumentation disciplines.
Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve model clashes.
Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards, project specifications, and applicable industry codes.
Generate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and drawing schedules.
Revise and update drawings throughout project lifecycles while maintaining document control.
Provide technical drafting support during fabrication, construction, and commissioning phases.

Minimum Requirements:

National Diploma or Draughting Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
3–5+ years' experience as a piping draughtsman in industrial or process engineering environments.
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP.
Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and AutoCAD will be advantageous.
Strong understanding of:
- Industrial piping systems
- P&IDs
- Pipe supports
- Equipment layouts
- Fabrication drawings
- Industry standards and specifications
Ability to read and interpret engineering calculations and technical documentation.
Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
